MEET ME AT JEN IN NOLA
The Jazz Education Network is in New Orleans for its second annual convention, January 5 – 8 (http://www.jazzednet.org/).
I am attending and I will be promoting my newly finished video, JAZZ JOURNALS, to be shown at schools, organizations, and any place that promotes jazz history. It features the interviews and reports I’ve covered over the past five decades. Check out the photos. Be sure to look for me, I’ll be hanging around at the Roosevelt Hotel, and I’ll be along with my tenor at those late-night jam sessions. I’m covering the event for a mini-documentary to show in my Broadcast Journalism, Broadcast Announcing, and Reporting classes at the State University of New York in Oneonta. Y’all come. Brian Madden
