Camille Bertault – Direct From Paris
FRI & SAT • JAN 10 & 11
7 & 9:30 PM
Vanity Fair calls her “The new voice of jazz” and you haven’t heard anything until you’ve heard Camille Bertault. Perhaps jazz’s first internet sensation, Camille’s videos of her uncanny scatting her own French lyrics to standards like John Coltrane’s “Giant Steps” went viral five years ago. Since then, she’s cut two albums, incorporating her early training in classical and opera plus pop influences with a creative purity that demands to be heard.
Camille Bertault Duo (1/10) featuring Leo Genovese, piano; (1/11) Diego Figueiredo, guitar.
