NateKid & Alan Cumming Sing “April Showers”

Tony winner Alan Cumming (The Good Wife, X2, Golden Eye, Spy Kids, Smurfs) and hip-hop jazz crooner NateKid sing the standard APRIL SHOWERS. The song reflects upon how, when one perseveres through difficult times, things get better, and often, more beautiful.  The slideshow is comprised of shots by many talented photographers at the top of their game.  (Wall Street Journal, NY Times etc)

It was recorded at Avatar Studio as part of “NateKid Jazz.”  (NateKid’s temporary divergence from fusing the standards with urban sensibility.) The piano solo is by David Cook (Michael Blanco, Arun Luthra, Sunny Jain, Alan Ferber, Sean Nowell, Travis Sullivan’s Bjorkestra, Bob Reynolds, Taylor Swift, Natasha Benningfield.)  Upright- Dmitry Gorodetsky, Drums- Lieven Venken.
