Olivier & Jean Baptiste Franc, at the fabulous and funky Triad Theatre.
Olivier Franc is probably the world's number one disciple of jazz legend Sidney Bechet, truly channeling the master's spirit & signature sound at times.
Olivier will be bringing an actual Sidney Bechet soprano sax as his ax for the evening. Stride piano expert Jean Baptiste will be on piano. Most unusual guest will be fellow pianist Allan Tate, a blues & gospel specialist who was sideman to the truly legendary Sister Rosetta Tharpe!
