Ambient SpacesRandy Klein, improvising pianist, in collaboration with Robert Appleton, visual electronic multimedia improviser will be presenting Ambient Spaces, a live multimedia event featuring the marriage of sound, light and improvisation – a canvas of sound and image within a constantly evolving physical environment influenced by performers and audience. The ISIM conference brings together improvisers from all over the world to improvise and discuss the many aspects the subject. 
 

As a pianist/keyboardist, songwriter, educator, author and founder of the Jazzheads Music Group, Randy Klein not only has a long list of accomplishments in several overlapping worlds but is constantly adding new innovations to each area of his musical life.

Randy Klein will be presenting a songwriting music clinic titled The Power of The Song at the Association of Popular Music Educators (APME) Conference on June 13, 2019 at 11AM at New York University, New York, NY. The theme of this year’s conference is Celebrating Diversity in Popular Music Education.

APME organizes an annual international conference to celebrate, critique and explore teaching, learning, researching, creating, and performing in popular music. The conference welcomes people with interests in higher popular music education (at colleges and universities), popular music in elementary and secondary schools, researchers, industry professionals and performers.
