The 3rd Annual Duke Ellington Nutcracker Suite will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at 7 p.m. in the Cecilia S. Cohen Recital Hall at East Stroudsburg University. The original music to this iconic piece will be performed by the Water Gap Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Matt Vashlishan, who is also the Coordinator of the Al Cohn Memorial Jazz Collection at ESU. Narration of the story will be read by Duke's grandson, Edward Ellington II, as well as local jazz vocalist Nancy Reed. General admission tickets are $20 ticket for students and children under 12 are $10. Seniors 65+ $15
