PERFORMS AT THE BROWNSVILLE HERITAGE HOUSE!

The Word On The Street Ensemble will conduct a free monthly concert series at The Brownsville Heritage House, located at 581 Mother Gaston Blvd., Brooklyn, New York, the first children’s library in this nation!

The ensemble featuring Bill Saxton, Saxophone; Vincent Chancey, French Horn; Roy Meriwether, Piano;  Robert Cunningham, Bass; and Wade Barnes, Drums/Leader will perform from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. on May 21 and June 18, 2011.

These concerts, at the nation’s oldest children’s library, are sponsored by The Jazz Foundation of America, The Brooklyn Four Plus One, Inc; The Department Of Cultural Affairs; and The Brooklyn Public Library
