Bill Charlap Trio
Grammy award-winning pianist Bill Charlap has performed with many of the leading artists of our time including Phil Woods, Tony Bennett, Gerry Mulligan, Wynton Marsalis, Freddy Cole and Houston Person. In 1997 Charlap formed his trio with bassist Peter Washington and drummer Kenny Washington, now recognized as one of the leading groups in jazz. In 2000, he was signed to Blue Note Records and received two Grammy Award nominations, for Somewhere: The Songs of Leonard Bernstein and The Bill Charlap Trio: Live at the Village Vanguard. He is known for his interpretations of American popular song. In 2016, Tony Bennett & Bill Charlap: The Silver Lining, The Songs of Jerome Kern, was awarded a Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Album. In April, the Bill Charlap Trio released, Notes from New York, their debut recording for the Impulse label. Flavio Lira Group: CD Release Event
Hailing from Brazil, bassist Flavio Lira has never been restricted by one musical style. Since the beginning of his career, he has performed with groups ranging from Popular Samba to Classical Chamber Music. Now in New York, Flavio Lira is able to fully employ his versatility as a musician, collaborating with different artists and performing in prestigious venues such as the Blue Note. As part of his most recent project, Flavio Lira is releasing the album Coffee Gold Sugar Cane, a rhythmic fusion of Brazilian grooves, Cuban clave, Colombian folkloric and jazzy chords.

Flutist/composer/recording artist/clinician, Jamie Baum, has toured the US, and over 30 countries performing at major festivals and concert halls including The North Sea Jazz Festival, Guimaraes Jazz Festival, Madrid Jazz Festival, Bermuda, Edinburgh, Friehoffer, Winter JazzFest and JVC Festivals. She has performed with artists as renown and diverse as George Russell, Randy Brecker, Donald Brown, Mick Goodrick, Tom Harrell and Kenny Barron to Dave Douglas, Fred Hersch, Uri Caine, Ralph Alessi, Leni Stern, Jane Bunnett, David Binney, V.M Bhatt, Anthony Braxton and Wadada Leo Smith.

Joe Lovano Classic Quartet + Judi Silvano
Joe Lovano is a Grammy-winning saxophonist, composer, and arranger. Down Beat magazine has twice named him Jazz Artist of the Year, and he scored a prestigious trifecta in 1998: nominations for Musician of the Year, Improviser of the Year, and Best Tenor Saxophonist in the New York Jazz Awards. He also topped both the Down Beat readers and critics polls as Tenor Player of the Year in 2000. Lovano has several albums as a leader and has appeared on dozens of other recordings. Lovano has collaborated with many legendary musicians, including McCoy Tyner, Hank Jones, Joshua Redman, Bill Frisell, Branford Marsalis, Jim Hall, and Paul Motian. Judi Silvano is a singer and composer who has released 14 music recordings on Blue Note, Soul Note/ Black Saint, Zoho, Jazzed Media and JSL Record labels to critical acclaim. She has played and/or recorded with such artists as Kenny Werner, Jim Pepper, Bill Frisell, Jack DeJohnette, Charlie Haden, Steve Swallow, Paul Motian, Tim Hagans, Vic Juris, John Abercrombie, James Emery, Victor Lewis, Warren Smith, Newman Taylor Baker, Wynton Marsalis, Gunther Schuller, Manny Albam, and Michael Abene among others. Claudio Roditi Quartet
Brazilian jazz trumpeter Claudio Roditi came to the U.S. to study at the Berklee College of Music in 1970 before moving to New York. Roditi has played with Charlie Rouse and Herbie Mann, and in the early ’80s, started working regularly with Paquito D’Rivera. The reliable trumpeter has been on many straight-ahead recording sessions, in addition to being a member of Dizzy Gillespie’s United Nation Orchestra. Roditi recorded as a leader for Green Street, Uptown, Candid, and Reservoir, among other labels. See the Claudio Roditi Quartet feat. Ann Hampton Callaway: “The Ella Century”
Ann Hampton Callaway is one of the leading champions of the great American Songbook, having made her mark as a singer, pianist, composer, lyricist and arranger. Voted recently by Broadwayworld.com as “Performer of the Year,” Ann is a born entertainer. Her unique singing style blends jazz and traditional pop, making her a mainstay in concert halls, theaters and jazz clubs as well as in the recording studio, on television, and in film. She is best known for Tony-nominated performance in the hit Broadway musical “Swing!” and for writing and singing the theme song to the hit TV series “The Nanny.” Callaway is a Platinum Award winning writer whose songs are featured on seven of Barbara Streisand’s recent CDs. The only composer to have collaborated with Cole Porter, she has also written songs with Carole King, Rolf Lovland and Barbara Carroll to name a few.

Jorge Continentino Quartet
Jorge Continentino is a saxophonist, flautist, composer, arranger and educator, born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After years of playing professionally alongside some of Brazil’s biggest names in music, including Marisa Monte, Skank, and Milton Nascimento, Jorge released his solo album, “Portrait,” and moved to New York City with his wife and family to join the rich local jazz and Brazilian music scenes. Wilson “Chembo” Corniel Latin Jazz Quintet
Grammy Award nominee, Conga master and all around percussionist Wilson “Chembo” Corniel got his start in 1970’s Brooklyn, where he was mentored by legendary percussionists such as Tommy Lopez, Little Ray Romero 
and Cachete Maldonado, as well as Chucho Valdez later in his career. Honing his craft alongside the creme-de la-creme in jazz and Latin jazz, Chembo has played and or collaborated with luminaries such as Tito Puente, Machito, Louie Ramirez, Chucho Valdes, Grady Tate, Chico Freeman, and Larry Harlow’s Latin Legends band. Today, he is considered as one of the best hard-hitting, versatile percussionists around.
