Greetings jazz lovers,

An important and fascinating event is coming up this Wednesday
evening, March 29th at 7:00pm, at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

featuring Evan Christopher, Vince Giordano, Al Vollmer, & Dr. Michael White

This is like a Bechet Society family reunion, as well.
Phil Schaap & Dr. Michael White are founding board members.
Evan Christopher & Vince Giordano have played & recorded for SBS
many times over the years. Two of SBS's staunchest supporters.

For those who don't know Al Vollmer, he is a significant jazz preservationist,
the co-founder of The Harlem Blues & Jazz Band. HNJB was started in 1973
by "Doc" Vollmer and King Oliver's trombonist/blues singer, Clyde Bernhardt.
Not even six degrees of separation from the evening's subject matter!!

Come out Wednesday night and get up close to the essence of jazz history!!
